Scribophile

World’s largest websites for writers looking for critiques of their work.

The way it works is that you sign up — the basic account is free — and do a few critiques of pieces by other writers. Then they allow you to post your own work and get feedback on it.

The pieces are short, and sorted into lots of categories, so you can critique stuff that you’re most interested in.

There are also lots of resources to help with the critiquing process.

There’s no better way to get better as a writer than to analyse other works. And its great to get independent feedback on your own work.

Several people in writing groups I’m in are members, and both post and review other people’s work.
